By car:
By car Benediktbeuern can be reached from Munich by taking the highway A 95 in direction Garmisch-Partenkirchen, until the turnoff Sindelsdorf, then from Sindelsdorf in the B11 until Benediktbeuern. Once in Benediktbeuern look for indications to Benediktbeuern Abbey. For more information, klick on the following link:

From Munich Airport, Benediktbeuern can be reached by taking the interurban train (S-Bahn): either S1 destination "Ostbahnhof" or S8 destination "Geltendorf". In both cases drop out of the interurban train at the stop "Hauptbahnhof" (Munich Main Railway Station) and change here to the express trains of the railroad track Munich-Kochel am See.
